Christmas just around the corner!

I've been out all day with friends shopping for just the right gifts for some of my family. The kids are getting older and it gets harder to think of something they might want. Oh for the days when we went to Toys R Us and picked out toys. Hate to just give gift cards but that may be the way I go. I've been hooking a small Santa mat. I usually try to give them something handmade but haven't found the time this year. After Christmas I have so many projects to finish. That will be my resolution for next year. I started this rug last spring and got so carried away hooking that I developed tennis elbow, so that had to wait. Hope to get back to it soon. Hope you are having a great weekend. See you soon.

Signs of Thanksgiving

Good Morning!  You can always tell when Thanksgiving is near. Turkeys start coming out of the woods into our backyard looking for a safe haven.  Not that we have hunters in the woods behind us but it's fun to watch these big birds.
